final question about migration and 'test" migration

ok so im doing a test migration on a test domain now assumming that once i redesign my site and get to a point where im happy and ready to do a full migration can i do any of the following option 1 and best option by far simply change the domain onthe server and or move it to a new account with the new domain and download a fresh archive and do a folder compare and only upload the files that differ or are new then import them in away that simply adds them to the existing files. or...

template compare issue and email notice issue

when using the template compare comparing a freshly cloned 1.10 to a modified 1.0.16 i dont see the modifications wether i choose the cloned 1/0.16 default or customized but when i go into the 1.0.16 and compare it to the 1.10 i see the customized on the left and only an option to overwrite with the unmodified 1.1.0 additionaly email notifications have <--begin jruser/email_notify_signup_subject.tpl--> and an end tpl comment added to the subject line

Profile Image and Featured Image uploading problem

I am not able to upload profile image and set featured image. Could somebody help please? I tried uploading profile image but it doesn't show after uploading. Adding Lyrics and Song Notes to Song Pages

Using the 'form designer' on the 'song upload' page, I added two new fields; 'lyrics' and 'song notes'. After this I was able to add this data to all the songs. Question is how to get this data to show up on the template in the front end of the site on the song page? Thanks for the help.

Profiles on my site have an empty activity panel called "Latest Music". What module does this refer to (if any), and where can the language be found and changed? I thought maybe the panel is for activity related to audiofiles, but when I check the language editors for "Audio" and "Audio (Combined)" modules, I cannot find the words "Latest Music".

Synchronising user name and profile name

Coming from Ning, each user will only have one profile per user account. I need to have someway of synchronising the user name and profile name so that they only have to update it in one place. I suspect this could be done through a custom module but not too sure where to start? Would be good if we could do the same with the profile and account image as well.
